Tomato Soup and Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

There's nothing like a cold day to get you in the mood for soup! So why not have some tomato soup with a delicious grilled cheese sandwich on the side?


Ingredients:

For the soup

  • 1 Can Cream of Tomato Soup
  • 1 can of Milk 
    • use the soup can as your measuring cup
For the Sandwich
  • Two slices of bread (per sandwich)
  • Butter
  • Cheese
Dump the soup and milk into one pot on the stove. Let it heat itself through on medium heat. Remember to stir it occasionally so that it doesn't burn to the bottom of the pot.

While the soup is warming up, lets start on the sandwiches. 
*You can use either a griddle or a frying pan to grill the sandwiches*

Butter one side of each slice of bread. Place the buttered side on the griddle and put your cheese on the non-buttered side. Put the other slice of bread on top of the cheese, buttered side facing up. When the cheese gets melty flip the sandwich over and grill the other side.

Pour your soup into a bowl with the grilled cheese sandwich next to it and enjoy your meal!
